CalDigit Thunderbolt Docks FAQ
Videography, including talent
This project was meant to help clear up some commonly asked questions the company received about their products and to subtly show strengths versus the competition.Due to the repetitive structuring of this project, I took the opportunity to update our graphics templates to make them more robust and efficient to customize for future projects.
CalDigit Docks - Compatible with M2
Videography
The goal of this project was to clarify that CalDigit products are compatible with the new M2 generation of Apple Silicon.I’m particularly proud of the laptop screen zoom-in shot, which incorporated both a digital zoom and a physical camera move towards the laptop screen. The physical move was accomplished with a creatively mounted camera slider. As a result, the actual compositing and digital camera tracking was a fun challenge to pull off. The end result conveys a tangible sense of depth that elevates the shot immensely.
CalDigit TS4 Setup
Videography
This project showcased CalDigit’s then newly released TS4, highlighting all the new features and selling points while packaging the project as a support set-up guide. There was a lot of goals present in the writing of this script. While the video is clearly a support guide, it was CalDigit’s next video released after the TS4’s announcement video, so marketing was a major focus. The script intended to strike a balance between a focused support experience as well as more in-depth technical information that non-owners may be interested in.
